The Refresh Rate should also be set to match the monitor, if possible. Matching the game's resolution to the monitor's native resolution usually gives the optimum viewing experience. The Resolution allows a multitude of choices such as 1600x1024, 1680x1050, etc. Fullscreen is recommended because Windowed and Borderless modes on some systems have been known to cause launch issues such as blackscreens and failure to launch the game (reference Troubleshooting the game). The Display Mode allows three choices: Fullscreen, Windowed, and Borderless.
